I last posted over a year ago.

In that year these things have occurred:

*raced in the triathlon I planned to do last time i wrote only my knees were awful so I competed as part of a relay - I swam the 1/4 mile and biked the 12, and my cousin ran the 5k. In two weeks I am doing a full tri myself - 1/3 mile swim, 15 mile (hilly eeep!) bike, 5k run.

*Lost friends and made new acquaintances

*turned 26 and 27

*thought i was graduating college. then thought i was graduating college again. the thought i was graduating college for real. then thought that the moment had come. i'm still sort of waiting to figure out if it's REALLY happening as i have one week of a course left then I'm supposedly done. who knows

*Have been car free for a year and a half

* been job free (not by choice, however) for four months. ugh, these bills don't pay themselves, people!

* figured out a diet that works with my lifestyle and goals i have set for myself

* goals! lots of them! and not just in soccer!

* joined a women's rugby team. then quit because i have a busted foot

* ran another road race with no training and didn't die and i realized i don't like running so much but i'll do it cause it means i'm being active

* remembered how and why i love being in the water, be it a pool or the ocean, so much

*surfed!!! (not enough. never enough)

* got a short story published

* realized i'm more attractive then i think

* realized it's all relative.


maybe i'll update this more now that i remember i have it.
